50th anniversary of the KC order in 1932.

Pancake Breakfast
A parish breakfast was held on November 5 - Bro. Ron Skokun cooked the pancakes.

Bro. Gene Hrabarchuk assisted with the cleaning up! Over 100 attended this event.

 

 
Chapel Restoration
Project Chair Don Zaharia received a
$500 donation from Council GK Vaughn Wadelius  towards restoration of the chapel built by Bishop Ovid Charlebois in 1897.		 Bishop Charlebois's 1897 log church  (he lived in the attic) - now relocated next to the 1922 cathedral which  replaced it. A new foundation was built in restoration phase 1.

The interior of the Charlebois chapel, the first Catholic church in The Pas, is in great shape for its age.

 

  
Adding a dash of colour! 2005-06 Award to Charlebois Council  
Flin Flon Mayor Dennis Ballard and GK Vaughn Wadelius at the Flin Flon Council 75th anniversary banquet. The Parnell Caulfield Assembly 4th degree honour guard made an impression - (L) FN Erhart Dzuibak. Our Council received the 2005-06
McGivney Award.

AGK Kelly (r) presented Council donation to World Vision project organized by Michael Kane and his mother Lynda. Life Members at the Charlebois Council's 80th Anniversary dinner, November 2008 GK Wadelius presents gift certificates to youth religious education aides who taught parish pre-school children in
2008-09.		  

 

On May 10, 2009 GK Wadelius presented gift certificates to reward and encourage parish mass servers.  The KC travelling icon was there.
