GK Ken Kelly presented a special wheel chair to
Bro. Orest Pidskalny and his wife Teresa.

Council Banquet
Members and guests celebrated the
50th anniversary of the KC order in 1932.


Chapel Restoration
Project Chair Don Zaharia received a
$500 donation
from Council GK Vaughn Wadelius  towards restoration of the chapel built by Bishop Ovid Charlebois in 1897.
Bishop Charlebois's 1897 log church  (he lived in the attic) - now relocated next to the 1922 cathedral which  replaced it. A new foundation was built in restoration phase 1.

The interior of the Charlebois chapel, the first Catholic church in The Pas, is in great shape for its age.

2005-06 Award to Charlebois Council

Trappers' Festival pancake breakfasts continue to be a popular Council activity. Life Members at the Charlebois Council's 80th Anniversary dinner, November 2008 GK Wadelius presents gift certificates to youth religious education aides who taught parish pre-school children in


On May 10, 2009 GK Wadelius presented gift certificates to reward and encourage parish mass servers.  The KC traveling icon was there.

In 2012 GK Knight Kelly presents a $500 donation to the St. Anthony's Hospital project to commemorate the contributions of the Sisters of Charity.  2012-13 GK Don Maksymchuk presents a $500 cheque to UCN students for a ten day medical/dental mission to Guatemala. Delegates from District 5 at 2013 State annual meeting, representing Charlebois, Flin Flon and Thompson Councils.  

Litter Cleanup
Bros. Don Maksymchuk & Bill Otchenash cleaning up litter near Bishop's House.

Bro Don & GK Vaughn Wadelius helped remove 18 bags of litter - a 2013 Thanksgiving project.

GK Vaughn Wadelius (L) presented a $250 grant to the 7 student MBCI Hovercraft Project Team to assist with the student's travel cost to compete in Winnipeg.  


GK Wadelius presented food donation cheques to principals Tara Manych and Jay Marin.
Another food donation cheque was also presented to principal Gavin Smith.
